Just discovered that I can't call or directly email the County office that erroneously issued me a $5300 check they were supposed to send to Chase - I can only fill out an on line customer service form and hope they call back.

But if you need to test unpredictable doors - you need a Lennie. He is brave, independent and fearless (and trainable but not so bright). Also will happily locate and tree raccoons for you.

Lennie trapped himself in a fleece Stitch blanket the other day - it had a hole in the corner and he got his head through it and then realized the blanket was too heavy for him to pull. He is unfazed by the automatic Library doors.

She makes Lennie go first when we walk past them because he is brave and dumb. She finds them terrifying and is concerned because they don’t always open - because sometimes when we walk past the library it is closed.

I loved learning from Blair Braverman how she taught her dogs to be brave and independent. Without that, you can have a dog that knows how to pull but can’t make a decision when faced with a challenge - like Gail when she encounters the automatic doors at the Public Library.

A smart dog will know where home is - Gail escaped from my house within 36 hours - ran circled through the neighbor’s yards and showed up on the front porch asking to be let in. It is still a terrifying experience.

Lennie was taught to ignore squirrels and focus on raccoons. Gail was not taught anything - so she chases squirrels and he looks at her like she is embarrassing because they are “coon” hounds.

Dog. We talked about how hunting dogs are trained and what Lennie would be doing if he didn’t have a congenital heart defect. She had never really thought that much about how professional dogs are trained.

Annual check ups at the vet have been kind of funny this year - Gail sees the cat specialist in the practice because she is the gentlest human I have ever met and Gail likes her. Lennie can see anyone - today they both saw the same vet who didn’t realize Lennie started life as a professional coon

That would be like telling Lennie that he cannot tree raccoons.

He clearly does not understand the connection between working photographic equipment and food in his bowl.

I didn’t get it in the pictures but there is a 4 ft high inflatable Spider-Man on the porch behind the bush - hanging out with the little ghost.

That is great. I saw this display over the weekend and thought it was fun. If you look behind the bench there are 3 werewolves lounging against the fence and some characters that look like kids picked them on the porch.

I didn’t get any. For years, I have responded STOP and then gone back and blocked the original number. If the request came from another candidate’s list - I contact them and tell them that I have unsubscribed because I received unsolicited texts fundraising for another candidate.

My experience with coyotes is that they are not normally interested in competing with domestic dogs - they tend to stay away from the larger ones and larger groups. They will hunt small dogs and cats and some domestic dogs are dumb enough to challenge a coyote.

That was basically my relationship with the mother fox. She would yell at me if she thought I was too close to her kits.

When I had a fox maternity den under my porch I did some research on foxes and how the interact with people and domestic animals. A lot of it came down to foxes decided that humans were less threatening than coyotes. They figured out the boundaries of my electric fence and stole Freya’s toys.

I see no reason for abusive ex-husband to benefit from poor negotiating position on the part of Verizon and lack of customer service.

A reasonable settlement. Based on past experience, some corporate assistant will be handed my letter and told to make it go away and will see I am willing to settle for $220 and will fix it and I will go buy a new phone direct from Apple.
jennyil.bsky.social
Reduce my charges by $20 per line for a year or my next bill by $100. This does not make my phone work. Verizon claims I owe an extortionate payoff amount on my phone that no one can waive - I am going to write the new CEO and say is this really the way you want to do business and ask for
jennyil.bsky.social
Everyone on the family phone plan is currently paying less than they would otherwise because I have a dispute with Verizon - they admit that my phone won’t stay connected to their network. They have provided many new e-SIMS. They have offered new phones then found excuses not to send them so they

One child is working on moving to Europe, the other likes to travel. They know the family plan’s days are numbered. It is only my ex who cannot follow clear directions. The account is solely in my name.

When I got divorced I let my ex stay on the family phone plan because he was paying for some of the kid’s phones. Now the kids are around 30 and the family phone plan is a pain. He needs to make changes - I told him to get off but he doesn’t want to because it would cost more. I am playing hardball

But he lied and did not understand the world that she navigates on a daily basis.
