DEI is actually DEIA.

The A stands for Accessibility.

This regime has eugenicist goals. They don’t want to accommodate people with disabilities, because they don’t want there to be any people with disabilities.

It’s a cull.

A country that can give 900 billion to the military can afford to provide its citizens food, shelter and healthcare.

There’s always money for war.

There’s never money for social supports.

Recycle used batteries. Fwiw small coin batteries need to be layered in packing tape.
Best Buy, IKEA, and Batteries Plus are potential options, too.

Victim blaming helps the privileged keep their power.

Got raped? You were asking for it.

Disabled? You didn’t take care of yourself.

Getting deported? Should have followed the process.

Don’t make enough money? Should have made better choices.

Stop blaming the oppressed.

Rewatched some Star Trek tonight.
Still wild how a show about warp drives and weird nebulae ends up teaching the cleanest lessons about being human.
Every episode says the same thing in its own way:
‘Be curious. Be brave.

…Try not to fire phasers unless you really have to.”

It is not easy to qualify for disability benefits.

The process can take years, is exhausting and dehumanizing.

It’s designed to make people give up and/or die before there’s a payout.

This is why disabled people say they don’t owe you an explanation.

It costs the average taxpayer $34 a year to fund SNAP.

It costs nearly $200 a day to detain an immigrant in an ICE camp.

Your tax dollars are paying to detain people without due process instead of providing healthcare, food & housing.

Let that radicalize you.

Remember when the Young Republicans texts were released and contained a ton of harmful slurs and racist, bigoted rhetoric?

Politico censored every word but one.

Guess which one didn’t get censored?

The R slur.

It’s still socially acceptable to discriminate against disabled.

It shouldn’t be.

She saw 90 doctors and 21 OBGYNs.

No one would terminate.

That’s not malpractice, that’s doctors following the law.

Her fetus died too.

Performative allies *love* coming in hot with a pearl clutching "that's illegal!" as though it's a magic spell that instantly obliterates ableism.
“They can’t do that! The ADA protects you!”

People love to say this when you tell them you’ve been discriminated against or mistreated for being disabled

Just because someone technically shouldn’t do something, doesn’t mean they won’t

Dealing with discrimination is a part of being disabled

They weren’t willing to discuss the fact that at 9 weeks… a fetus normally dies when the mother dies.
