Just a human and her cats. Plus maybe books and foster kittens and whatever else grabs my attention.

Not intended as an excuse or justification for people with the tattoo.
I read a lot about the Holocaust and WW2 high school onward, have always avoided lightning bolt art etc because it’s too easy to end up with something that looks like an S, but I totally missed this symbol. I think my brain just blanks over insignia and rank so I likely saw it, it just didn’t stick.
He was the dad to the measles patient in The Pitt.
Feels like typical tech bro didn’t finish the reading: “wait, what happened to Prometheus”… just like they are using all the cautionary sci-fi as inspiration for projects.
Jace used to play that game with any door in the house except he wouldn’t meow and sometimes be stuck in a room for hours. He’s the reason I had to put door pinch guards on every door.
Or don’t make them the nominee - there is still time to make someone else the Democratic nominee before we have to make this choice of Republican or questionable Democrat.
Just like we should find someone better than Newsom to be a presidential candidate. We don’t have to settle before the primary.

Vance Boelter, a Trump, GOP voting Christian nationalist, was radicalized in part by QAnon, the same conspiracy promoted by Trump and Republicans, even though they knew it had radicalized others to commit violence.

Boelter had a hit list of 70 liberals. He killed Melissa Hortmann and her husband.
Have you read any Mira Grant? She has 2 “mermaid” novellas which are really good - Rolling in the Deep and Into the Drowning Deep?

Max Brooks’s Devolution was interesting (I preferred World War Z) - I especially enjoyed the supply chain part. But you might never feel safe going camping again.

These animals are not just a symbolic treehugger cause. They serve a practical purpose, helping to keep other wildlife populations in check, which in turn helps control the spread of diseases in deer and elk. They shape the landscape by preventing deer from stripping plant life from riverbanks.
🚨 Wolves need your voice! Right now, Congress is considering spending bills that could strip federal protections from gray wolves in 44 states.

Removing these protections would leave wolves vulnerable to hunting, trapping, and persecution.

Also, easier to refill. She only seems to be expecting half a dozen trick or treaters with this set up.

i'll say it again, my loud and vigorous support for any democrat who calls for televised hearings and criminal charges for everyone involved in DOGE. this guy should never be able to live in peace again.
On the left: Nate Cavanagh, a 28-year-old DOGE staffer and college dropout.

On the right: Mohammad Halimi, a 53-year-old exiled Afghan scholar.

This is the story of how DOGE targeted Halimi on social media.

Then the Taliban took his family. 🧵
I will not stand for this LOST slander.
Yeah, I think now comparing apples and oranges … your point seems to look at it as if renters are primarily in roommate situations and split rent, not a single person renting a whole space or a family etc. -it’s easier to just compare the cost of the dwelling, however those expenses are split.
I always thought rent was more than the mortgage for something of the same value because you are paying for the convenience of not being locked down (more relevant for someone that moves frequently) and also not having to worry about repairs - but something small/reasonable, not 50% above …
Because the site is like The Onion but for the military.
Duffleblog is the military version of The Onion.
No, his actions with DOGE and USAID make him responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths with more to come. He needs to be held accountable. None of this “oh, he’ll siphon votes away” because it certainly didn’t work out when everyone thought Trump would be an entertaining distraction in 2015.
He didn’t go there but I also think he had a character start considering it in The Stand (he survived the virus but was locked alone in his jail cell and also started thinking about a rabbit he had as a kid and forgot to feed).
I was a liberal/left-leaning person in the Army for the mid 2000s onward. I was constantly self monitoring because I didn’t want to have 5 to 1 discussion. People always say “don’t talk politics”without realizing that their opinions are political just because they are the norm in a specific setting.
If you are still taking recommendations, Nelson’s Green Brier distillery - good food, great cocktails, really fun space for whiskey and bourbon.
Rocketman was the superior biopic but since it came out later and the Academy wasn’t going to award biopics two years in a row, Bohemian Rhapsody got all the awards and accolades Rocketman should have received.
If an “author” can’t be bothered to write their own book, why should I bother to read it?
