Well, Senators Bill Cassidy and Thom Tillis, you wanted RFK Jr. to “go wild” at HHS.

Congratulations. You’ve achieved your goal. He is well on his way to completely destroying the US vaccine program.

Such vile, hateful ignorance coming out of a once-respected institution.
I had to take a break after caller Michael Belkin declared that HepB is a disease of “gays, junkies and promiscuous heterosexuals” and Robert Malone THANKED HIM FOR IT.

Because no one knows what they are voting on.

ACIP member Pollak points out that there is no science to support the guideline to not vaccinate infants against HBV until after 2 months of age.

He wants to strike that statement.

Someone says that the text of the vote has been written by the “Department of Redundancy Department”.

Vaccines shouldn’t be partisan. Everyone benefits from vaccination. But when uptake dwindles to match partisan numbers, the efficacy of herd immunity goes out the door too — leaving infants, seniors, immunocompromised, and other at-risk people without community protection.
“The partisan gap over vaccines is widening, according to a recent survey by Pew Research Center. Ninety-two percent of Democrats say the benefits of the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine outweigh the risks. But just 78 percent of Republicans feel that way, down from 91 percent a decade ago.” 🎁 🔗

ACIP cannot answer why they are reconsidering the HepB vaccine when the preponderance of evidence shows it is safe and effective. Their response: "we need to be humble about what we know." This is how they'll make decisions that will increase preventable disease & affect infant health in the U.S.?

What's at stake: ACIP will vote later today on whether to restrict access to the hepatitis B vaccine -- making it shared clinical decision-making at the hospital, and then limiting it to two months of age if the birth dose isn't received

Praise for ACIP liaisons- medical societies that work in the area of medicine, infectious diseases, & nursing (AMA, ACOG, IDSA, etc). They are the ones bringing the flaws in thinking/science to the forefront. We must stand up for science when it is under attack, and these people get the assignment!

Hoeg falsely says there are no placebo trials for hepatitis B vaccines.

That's why you ask experts before you speak.

Vaccine Court is a no-fault system where a special master evaluates HHS/DOJ analysis and makes a decision on whether applicant should be compensated.

The burden of proof is preponderance of evidence, but 60% of awards come from negotiated settlements that do not find the vaccine caused the injury.
Nevison tries to say vaccine harm proven by payouts from the Vaccine Injury Compensation program. Malone agrees.

Meissner jumps in. "I can absolutely tell you that these are not confirmed associations." Says Nevison is "incorrect"

Data suggests that hep B vaccination protects children for at least 30 years. (Hep B has only been given at birth since 1980s/1990s depending on the country.) Doctors tell me they never seen hep B in people in their 20s and 30s, even if they use injection drugs. #ACIP
#ACIP Meissner says evidence is "very strong" that there is lifelong immunity to hepatitis B after receiving the vaccine series. "This disease has gone down in the US thanks to the effectiveness of the current vaccination program."

All part of the broader #ACIP theme of “facts are opinion, and opinions are facts!”
#ACIP Retsef Levi now speaking, suggests there is not enough evidence to determine whether there is harm, which is a theme that he's focused on in the past two meetings. Also suggests risks of children getting hepatitis B is "so so small."

No mention of the fact that routine vaccinations are not widely accessible in their countries of origin. Instead, leaning hard into xenophobia to imply that immigrants = disease vectors.

And there it is! There’s the racism I knew we were going to see coming out of #ACIP.

It’s so sad to see these institutions reduced into THIS.
This is a completely unscientific, borderline racist presentation from Nevison. She says horizontal transmission "is unlikely to apply to the average American child."

She assumes all actual infections are identified, so she dismisses estimates and only uses identified cases. So she alleges cases are much lower than CDC estimates.

There's a reason experts do not make the same assumption. Because not all cases are identified. #ACIP.
