I'm listening to "Infinite Powers" by Steven Strogatz on Audible.

It's a good book. I wish I could do advanced mathematics, and am grateful for Mr. Strogatz making calculus accessible - at least conceptually.

Truth. In my experience as a white male, white Americans generally (and men especially) define themselves by opposition rather than inclusion.

Being white is being *not not-white.* And it spills over to other traits. White men can usually tell you what masculinity isn't but not what it is, etc.

Agreed. Bezos is an opportunist but also a pragmatist. Orbital data centers would be easier to power and cool and harder to sabotage. The only real drawback I can see is that they'd be harder to repair/replace.
