Ok, props to whoever is in the aux at Notre Dame volleyball. Long delay at officials desk coming out of a timeout, so they play 4 Non Blondes "What's Going On?"

All three UofL women's fall "team sports" are ranked. Vball at 6, Soccer at 10, and Field Hockey at 18.
Cards fans that only follow M Bball and Football, you're missing the really good stuff!

This is an experience I haven't had in...a while.
Have already overheard several BGSU fans comment that they really enjoy visiting here because everything/everyone is so nice.
Sometimes my city really makes me proud.

The products of #AI aren’t subject to copyright. Does this mean organizations who are vibe coding have no intellectual rights to the results? I’m thinking the answer is yes. If I’m right, I now wonder if these organizations have considered this… or have they been too caught up in the hype?

So, I suck at self-promotion, but I'll be giving the main talk at the summer KYNUG (Kentucky Network Users Group) meeting.
The talk will be, "Eight Networking Hot Takes". I believe baskets of tomatoes will be available for pelting (not really).
It should be a fun discussion!

I'm with Bart, I'm pretty much using uv for everything Python these days, even doing a quick 'uv init' for quick ad-hoc scripts. He's got some stuff in this thread for converting from poetry to uv which is awesome...I just never did much with poetry so don't have any projects needing to convert.
When I encountered #uv I fell for it right away. I was already using ruff for a while and started looking into rye, which was the intermediate step before it became uv.

Why do technology vendors want to restrict who can get access to their product/service documentation? I may not be a customer, but it seems to me that, if your product/service is any good, *anyone* knowing more about your product/service is a good thing.
Are they ashamed of their wares?

Ok, and seriously, props to Booker. But what's needed now is, when Booker needs to step down for whatever reason, for the next Democrat to get the floor...

Ok, I know I say this frequently, but good grief women's basketball officiating is just universally awful.

My father was a high school US History teacher that used to "teach" that North Dakota doesn't exist, as a very long running joke (seriously...many decades long).
But these nut jobs, like MTG, are earnest.

I'm hesitant to say anything, and it's still early in the game, but this #UofLWBB team looks much more put together than I've seen previously.

Mildly amusing observation: In the NCAA D1 Volleyball Elite Eight round, it's all blue teams vs blue teams, or red teams vs read teams (using the school's predominant color).
Pitt v Kentucky
Creighton v Penn State
Louisville v Stanford
Nebraska v Wisconsin

Stekkjastaur, the first of Iceland’s 13 Yule Lads, comes down from the mountains tonight. All the children put a shoe in the window that he will put a treat or a little gift in - if they have been good that is. The bad children get a potato.

Thoughts on Autocon2, a 🧵
Last week I attended Autocon2, put on by the Network Automation Forum networkautomation.forum/autocon2.
As an extreme introvert, the non-stop interaction with various folks was absolutely exhausting, and today is the first day I feel vaguely human again.

I'm still in transit back home from #Autocon2. (I stayed in Denver Friday night)
I'll have more to say in the future. For now: I'm extremely glad I went, got to visit with friends/colleagues, and connect with new folks.
Also, for those wondering, the "Open to Work" badge did its job very well.
