Just finished writing/scheduling the monthly newsletter, so I'm prob spending the rest of this four-day weekend messing with Mister Bee WIP instead of TNS.

Tbf, I went to the city yesterday. Worse, THE Macys. I needed a suit, and it was either that, or a mall in NJ during the holiday season.

Thanks to the circumstances surrounding how they met, Mick initially pitied Eleanor, which was why he agreed to be her companion. But over time, Mick grew to love her passion, energy, curiosity—pretty much everything. It was gradual, though. He can't even pinpoint when he went from fondness to love.

TIL honey bees use their right antennae to communicate/determine who's friend and foe, and I'd like to believe that's why Beenjamin's right antennae is always cocked backwards, towards whoever's holding him. (Though it's probably a sewing quirk *or* an aesthetic thing.)

One thing I keep telling myself as I go through this draft is that it's the sixth draft for TNS but the first draft for this specific concept. As in, the story I wrote last year, wherein it was about Mick and Eleanor trying to turn Mick back, is not this story.
