Same with the ideologies of Jesse James and Charlie Manson.
Brief return to post: Been listening to several audiobooks about Abraham Lincoln, all of which cover John Wilkes Booth. Amazing how his writings and ruminations reflect that of MAGA hate, Christian Nationalism (heresy, domestic extremism), and far-right agents, i.e. Charlie Kirk.

Rod was editor of his high school newspaper. Here’s a fun nod from his class. ❤️

Dear Christian,

If you’re calling the political party you oppose “demonic” and “evil,” but say “hey, no one is perfect, just pray for them” when anyone criticizes your preferred party, that isn’t the gospel of Jesus.

That is moral relativism and selective outrage.
So sorry, Christopher. I know how tough this is. Someday the happy memories will soften the grief 🩵

October 20, 1961: Twilight Zone's "The Mirror" airs. Peter Falk plays a Castro-like leader who believes a unique mirror is exposing his assassins.

Some critics dismiss it—and sure, it's not top-tier TZ—but I think it teaches a valuable lesson about the seductive nature of power.

If you measure your success and faithfulness as a Christian by your ability/power to force cultural change ... your faith is based on Caesar, not Christ.

Christ commands us to point to what is better and will be in Christ's kingdom via sacrificial example, not cultural control.
Sheesh. If I was local, and going to Disneyland, I’d take the $40 parking fee and add it to the cost of an Uber.
As a Christian, I approve of these #NoKings
#NoKingsDay signs.

“There will be signs.”

Wishing you a turn for the better soon, Christopher.
The is Al. His macramé hanging plant holder was made with Ai.
“Knott's Berry Farm still sells a version of the Fun Bun, typically as a seasonal offering during specific events like Boysenberry Festival or Knott's Merry Farm. It is not a permanent menu item sold year-round in the park.”

Google Ai (eew! haha)

Remember folks ... it's ALL Babylon.

Every. Single. Bit. Of. It.

When we take that to heart, we stop seeking control and start looking for ways to point/take people to safety.
Right. I ran out of space to remark about your very funny response.

No need to search YouTube. I linked the album’s audio files in my reply!
If you talk in an announcer voice, use the f-word, ramble on with your co-hosts about what you had for lunch, I don’t care how much interesting information you share, I’m not listening. Very thankful for those who do it right.
