Pure evil can only be fought with pure intent. Fascism, and all other forms of authoritarianism, tend towards the corruption of whatever intangible central portion a person might name for themselves, without temper or give.

Evil begets evil, and good can never serve it.

The reflects one of Hayao Miyazaki's (director, writer) most personal themes in his films; that authoritarianism is, at its heart, pure evil.

For a man who often makes allies, even friends, of diametrically opposed figures (Nausicaa, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke), this speaks to the core fundament of humanity's need to conflict with the very heart of true evil.

I've received an 'exclusive' invite to try Nature's new 'research assistant', which will burn down a forest to provide a 'summary of the paper' I'm reading and I have SUCH exciting news for them, that's called an 'abstract' and the actual authors already wrote it for me, no forest-burning required.

I love the horn asymmetry. Too often art depicts bilateral symmetry perfectly, and this is subtly different. Did you model it for the lighting?

I should note that extremely large marginal scales (e.g., tegu, some snakes) are less common than smaller ones, and that it's likely very large marginal scale function as a way to make the oral tissues less, rather than more, flexible, and sometimes this is reflected in the skull (e.g., akinetic).

Why scales at all? There's no reason (without evidence to the contrary, which would have to direct preservation, moulds, etc.) to discard either option, or introduce another that also can't be directly contradicted (naked). The only complication is when people add fur to basal synapsids.

It's further odd that other putative tail-swingers don't have fused distal caudals---such as stegosaurs, even "nodosaurs," which would benefit!---like "ankylosaurids" do. That these structures are at the end of very long, very delicate (comparative) tails suggest high force and agonism is unlikely.

How peculiar, then, that eusauropods don't have the diplodocoid-like elongated tails that would make use of tail swinging, or the lithostrotian wide-gauge that would give the legs the added "oomph" to impart to the tail. Tail tips in this case respond to stress via flagellating contact, nothing else

Years ago, I likened Shunosaurus' tail … thing … to a pygostyle. This derived from research that pygostyles develop from responses on tail stress. They don't necessarily support feather quills, but they do support muscles. Tail clubs less so, yet sauropod tail biomech implies a use: swinging.

The skull supports a few ideas regarding the origin of the premax and anterior dentary dentition from what could ostensibly be considered an omnivorous ancestor, being slightly flattened and recurved.

Predentary not preserved, and premax lacks a "hook" (like Goyocephale, Prenocephale, etc.)

The earliest (chronologically) pachycephalosaur.

This should be discussed more extensively.

I once had a researcher complain about my reconstruction of a pterosaur on account of the previous argument that, because the uropatagium in Sordes is weird (tail turned to the side) that uropatagia attach to hips, not tails, and the tail is loose.
