One valid response to Plattner is "Great, you renounce those past actions, why don't you spend 4 years standing with LGBTQs and the people of Maine and serving them in a non-official capacity and come back and contest again then." He should consider it. People are in too much of a hurry

I use a YouTube reviewer with a hugely boring voice to help me sleep at night. When he put out a video saying he was quitting due to lack of engagement, I signed in from 5 different accounts to offer him words of encouragement. Can't have my sleep suffering.
