Not a unique take, but: Sports gambling has broken our brains. It's the least interesting lens through which to analyze sports, putting so much focus on the "what will happen/is happening" over "why will it happen/is it happening." It makes our conversations worse and less curious.

I told people months ago that the Raptors might be top 4 in the East. Especially with Boston and Indy dealing with injuries. People looked at me like I had 3 heads.
It’s still early…but looking good so far.
