A system that can do this can probably have an armed drone follow you home, come in through your window and blow up in your bedroom.

An impressive (and, to be honest, terrifying video).

Over 16,000 drones flew up in the sky in China, setting a new Guinness record.

Just like last year, one computer was used to manage the whole show. The system tracked each drone in real time.

There’s a PS to this, which is that he WAS casting spells - to ‘resurrect’ his mates in some online game.

So, it’s good to know I recognise spell-casting when it’s happening under my roof!

The thing about writing is it's about *thinking* rather than about transcribing your thinking. That's a big reason why I'd never use AI to write (among many other reasons). I want to do the thinking! I've got a couple of anecdotes about this in case anyone is interested. 1/3 🧵⬇️

The good people at Diffords note today is the anniversary of the first Oktoberfest (1810, apparently), so cocktail of the day is a Munich Negroni Western Style, which sounds like it should be wrong in countless ways, but is fact is a subtly distinctive, nutty variation!

This sounds genuinely interesting. Successive governments have largely ignored or dicked about with the children's workforce since the CWDC was closed down, and in the absence of any govt strategy, this could be an answer.
