My cat had a heart condition. Insurance paid for the first complicated scan - then £800 for x2 yearly scans. I asked what would the show & it was just to monitor to see if getting worse. There was nothing they could do if/when it did get worse. He hated the vets so I let him (& my account) be.

I really don’t know how pubs make a living. I volunteer at a bar in our local arts centre. Overheads minimal (the bar is basically a converted garden shed) & staff all free as we volunteer & we’ve charity status. We charge the same or more than the local pubs & don’t make a lot. #Pubs

I am so sorry Debbie - I did too about the same time & it was painful & traumatic but I was told it’s common as in 1 in 3 - perhaps 1 in 2 are lost. Like many women’s health issues it’s never discussed & was a big shock for me.
