#skincare #makeup #beauty friends, I made a feed that I think could operate similarly to a subreddit?

If you want to be a poster, I need to add you to a list, then anyone in the list can post to the group using #smb

Lord, please never let me be hated by someone as skilled as that Vanity Fair photographer. Let all my haters be incompetent.

If you’d asked me yesterday how many people owned guns in my suburb I’d have said 0.
According to www.toomanyguns.org there is a non-collector with as many as 94 guns in my suburban Sydney post code.

The only ex prime minister I care to hear from is Harold Holt
Dear John Howard no one gives a fuck what you think.

I do not care to hear one single American opinion on the Bondi Beach massacre
American chuds: “Australia banned guns years ago. How well did that go yesterday?”

Better than America the day before that and
the day before that and
the day before that and
the day before that and
the day before that and

Anyway, the footage of Ahmed Al-Ahmed disarming one of the Bondi gunmen shows exceptional courage can defeat evil. A dad of two, he put saving the lives of others above his own.

Genuinely don’t understand why any civilian who isn’t a farmer needs a gun in this country.

to those confused about australia's gun laws: we had a very successful buyback program after port arthur. different states got pretty complacent with buybacks in the last decade. the number of legally acquired guns increased.

this article is three months old.

Australia was once the gold standard for gun safety. Experts say it’s losing control
Gun numbers have rapidly increased, 3D-printed firearms are routinely seized by police and one state is on the verge of enshrining a ‘right to hunt’ in law

I am not going to repeat the horrifically cooked takes I’ve seen online about yesterday’s Bondi Beach terrorist attack, but I am going to remember every single person who used this tragedy as a vehicle for their bigotry.

This is all deeply distressing, nobody should die or be traumatised like this, that guy who appears to have tackled the shooter is a deadset hero, anyone who tries to make political or culture war mileage out if this is ghoulish scum I will never forget

How are we having mass shootings again? I thought we were all done and dusted with mass shootings after Port Arthur. Genuinely feel sick to my stomach, those poor people at Bondi Beach.

I was watching the Ken Burns WW2 documentary and in the last episode this ex infantryman from Alabama looked dead in the camera and said; ‘And to those people in this country who say the Holocaust never happened, I’m telling you it did. Because I saw it when I helped liberate Mathausen’ A king.

How to buy a book for a child who is a non-reader? The trick is to meet them where they are

If you want kids to open the pages, not just the present, choose a book that feels like a treat – and show young Australians that reading matters

Today in #makeup news; OG Beauty YouTuber Jaclyn Hill recently took to TikTok complaining to her audience that her views have dipped to a lowly 30k. Viewers commented that they no longer identify with her content due to financial distress. Jaclyn responded by doubling down.

I got a sample of the new Natasha Denona hy glam foundation today and am definitely underwhelmed. The coverage is fine, as is the shade match. But for $94 I expect a product that doesn’t emphasize all of my pores and fine lines like this. Will stick with my trusty Fenty pro filter #makeup

Is it me or are the latest #makeup launches kind of lackluster? Between this and the Natasha Denona Hy Glam foundation I’m feeling pretty underwhelmed with this season’s new releases.
Just saw the new ABH Haze palette, but apparently the Embers one escaped me as well. I really haven't been feeling the ABH direction recently even if they have some cute colours/things here and there. I feel like the brand didn't age well and neither do I feel nostalgic for their stuff, meh

When I am king a ‘deadbeat grandparent tax’ will be enforced upon any retiree expecting their harried children to do their Christmas shopping for them
Deadbeat grandparents simply do not get enough smoke. I made a google doc for my kids 4 grandparents with URL’s linking to thing my kids have asked me for Xmas and one of them texted asking if I could choose and buy the gifts myself and have them shipped to her house. She did not provide her address
