Last night I watched The Flame and the Arrow w/ Burt Lancaster.

It's more of a Robin Hood movie than several Robin Hood movies.

In our recent release celebrating the 70th anniversary of the 'The Adventures of Robin Hood' we watched three episodes that especially featured Maid Marian.

Marian was initially played by Bernadette O'Farrell & appeared in 48 episodes. Patricia Driscoll took over the role & appeared in 37 episodes.

Last weekend I was playing a Call of Cthulhu game where we encountered a Lovecraftian take on Baba Yaga.

Hey @paulgcornish.bsky.social, Don Taylor as Robin Hood in this movie always strongly reminds me of the Mike Grell Oliver Queen.

We covered 'Men of Sherwood Forest' way back on episode 16 of the podcast and were genuinely shocked at the the quality of this early Hammer Film swashbuckler!

I consider this a proper hidden gem amongst all of the Robin Hood films out there! 🏹🎥
