It’s a mesmerising film, a puzzle which is impossible to crack (it even has this as a frequency metaphor reminder).

Perhaps slightly too early for Christmas but the perfect time to soak in Estonian folk horror film ‘November’ full of winter weather, devils and creepy creatures

I find it mad when a detective confronts the killer and explains to everyone there the ingenious way the crime was committed and the killer just goes ah well, fair enough, I’m guilty. No need to bother with court cases.

Pumpkins themselves are a relatively recent phenomenon, been on the increase in the last 25 years compared to the turnips we used to use. Partly Americanisation and partly because they’re a lot easier to carve.

In Greek myth, Prometheus stole fire from the Gods and gave it to humans for warmth and technology- he was severely punished for it!
