(Sorry, that was meant to be very tongue-in-cheek.)

Well, you could probably install it, but it would be a bear to get it to work properly.

Oh geeze, not Reddit. 😬 Poor Adolphus. Why not Bluesky?
inkdependence.bsky.social
That’s for the best. Those FB pen communities are not friendly. 😐

There are spoilers here, but they're at the end and you'll get plenty of warning if you want to skip them. Enigma Stationery is a small shop run by a family, and we really like those folks and the things they stock! Check out their store for fountain pens, inks, kawaii, and all sorts of things!

Adolphus was there? Awesome! He’s very cool. We have a couple of his pens and we really like them. One had a small problem, but he fixed it up for us with no problem.

“Permission to Dance” by BTS. Would be hilarious with the right creepy movie.

I did NOT expect to find a gif from Ronin Warriors. I never saw this whole series, and I could never figure out when it was on as a kid, but I remember really liking it.

I really like my Paper Republic cover and papers, and this looks great.

You’ve got a real knack for picking background materials from around the house! This is a skill I need!

The ones I reviewed were the new, colored lava ones, and they’ve got some coating that the regular ones don’t have. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I tried to stain them and couldn’t.

Okay! I seem to have fixed my fountain pen feed by clicking the link to it in this post! Why does that work? No idea!

I always think “You want something to cry about? I’ll give you something…” as I eat more pizza, or cheese, or whatever 😆
inkdependence.bsky.social
I only see a couple of posts there. 😕

Did something happen to the fountain pen feed? I don’t see anything but a pair of posts from 4 days ago…

It's been too long since I've posted an ink review! So, here's an ink that I think is more interesting than good. I really like the Sailor Yurameku inks, but this one is just a little too pale.

I've had an MP1 in the review queue for about a year now, but this new, exclusive, orange version tipped it over into the "do it right now" part of my brain. The Mercury Orange MP1 is available now (link in description), and it's 25% off for the 1st week, so a very nice deal with that included ink.
A Long-Term Review AND an Unboxing? Yep! Monteverde's MP1 & Mercury Orange from Goldspot!

Skip the FPH and go to Yoseka in NYC. They're way better, and have great stuff. Also, Pelikan pens take standard international cartridges, so you can just look for those from brands like Diamine, Franklin-Christoph, or a ton of others. They're the most widely available style.

Well, you can't really buy one at a time. Let us know a general sort of location and we can steer you towards places to get your carts and other things.

Depends where you’re located. Looks like you might be in the US and, if so, you’re in luck! There are LOTS of great online stores. Depending on where you are, there are great physical stores for fountain pens, too!

What ink are you using in them? Preppy pens are famous FOR working.

I had a hunch that you might've gotten a finer nib. Most Japanese fines and extra fines are not juicy gliders. They're very fine and precise. I think the Pilot fines are wetter than others, but you might need to size up if you're looking for that sort of thing from Japanese brands.
