The Knights were anti-chinese pogromists, in contrast to the IWW, which was co-created by anarchists and other socialists, inspired in part by the Haymarket anarchists. If more (racist) workers were interested in the Knights than the anarchists, that's a bad thing.

This Honduran ex-president received $1M in campaign contributions from El Chapo via his brother, who is serving a life sentence, but he's rightwing and pro-U.S. so he gets pardoned but unknown persons are supposedly being murdered to stop drug flows.

X's location "transparency" feature showing many MAGA accounts are based internationally reveals what we already knew: The world is using American social media and American politics as a slot machine and social media companies are directly incentivizing this:

America’s Polarization Has Become the World's Side Hustle
The 'psyops' revealed by X are entirely the fault of the perverse incentives created by social media monetization programs.

Reminder that it was the Democrats who normalized the kind of extra-judicial warfare that the Republicans are now escalating in the Caribbean (among other places).
Dems didn't have it for Libya either and argued they didn't need it. They normalized this.

an old fragment of something probably already said better: "dance is a cross-cultural social practice which disproves that what the body desires is pure idleness. what the body desires is the estatic liberation of movement."

Last quote-post reiterated to me the necessity of a real anti-State critique, recognizing the unity among the elected powerful, beyond ideology, rather than always open conflict, and that an anarchist critique must cut through the pervasiveness of State ideology & point out the Left's acquiescence.

Marx was wrong about many things including this, imo. Automation, while it can be liberatory, is more often than not an apparatus of capture.
WHICH IS WHY I KEEP ARGUING FOR A RE-EVALUATION OF RELATIONSHIPS but every techie and Marxist says "no, more tools and only more tools!"
marx is very explicitly pro-automation and anti-luddite. that is like. marx 101. i cannot fathom that we have marxists that identify as pro-luddite.

A convincing critique of A.I., its promise to exceed human intelligence and why human cognition exists beyond language; whereas LLMs exist, by definition & production, within the realm of language.

Anarchists will say they hate liberals, that anarchists are the opposite of liberals, but at the same time they'll promote people like Graeber (who campaigned for Corbyn) or the Ukraine army anarchists as if they're upstanding anarchists and not just spicy liberals.
