Hey media, and hell, dems too... Stop saying DOGE is cutting programs and firing people. Congress controls the "purse" Congress controls funding. Congress is run by Republicans. So Republicans are cutting funding and firing everyone. Give them the credit they deserve.

The DOGE guys didn’t just make one $8B mistake in their savings list — “they are getting it wrong with alarming consistency”

They don’t seem to understand how these things are calculated.

Writing from experience. We’re being forced to feel what I’m calling “mass learned helplessness”.

We are watching our institutions that have been protecting us get ripped apart every day on MSM. Our leaders appear to be helpless.

Helplessness is how we will be made to conform to the new America.

At OPM, Musk’s staffers won’t leave—they work around the clock and have even installed sofa beds in the office. Our access to data systems has been restricted, raising serious concerns about cybersecurity and a complete lack of oversight. We are keeping our heads down and documenting everything.

Sure, Trump broke the law by firing inspector generals without 30 days’ notice.

But here’s the bigger issue: inspector generals find fraud, waste, and abuse, saving taxpayers money. This wasn’t for the people—it was done to cut off checks and balances for Trump’s corrupt administration.

I got annoyed that no one in the legacy media seemed to understand the actual through line between the New Orleans and Las Vegas attacks on New Year’s.

And then I remembered I have my own newsletter: theracket.news/p/a-tremendo...
A tremendous shock in return
The New Orleans and Las Vegas attacks were deeply linked. You just have to know how to look at them.

The billionaires got scared because people online noticed they’re taking over the world.

So in response the billionaires will silence all those people talking about them online so they can more easily take over the world.

It's Christmas Eve, and if you're also struggling to be joyful, I see you. I'm baking Pfeffernüsse, but Longfellow is running through my mind:

And in despair I bowed my head;
"There is no peace on earth," I said;
"For hate is strong, And mocks the song, Of peace on earth, good-will to men!"

Reminder: A 24 page police report details a woman’s horrifying account of being drugged and raped by Pete Hegseth. (Currently, Hegseth is Trump’s nominee to lead the U.S. Department of Defense.)

In 2017, a woman said she was the victim of a sexual assault perpetrated by Hegseth at a GOP women’s…

Ever wondered why walking around museums is weirdly tiring? At normal speed our legs act like pendulums, swinging forward from the hip & saving us a huge amount of energy. In "museum shuffle" our muscles must do ALL the work of constant readjustment. So cake in the cafe is scientifically justified 🥳

People not elected to government should not have the power to reshape the government, especially people whose obscene wealth depends on the government functioning a certain way.

This is not a hot take.

It's just plain common sense.

Do you honestly think Donald Trump will cut taxes for the middle class and make billionaires pay their fair share, or crack down on price gouging and call on corporations to pass savings on to consumers?

There’s a narrative that Gaetz was a deliberate head-fake — a distraction to boost the real candidate — but I am always suspicious of narratives that attribute four-dimensional chess to trump as opposed to knocking over the table and eating the checkers.
