Next step: transfer to another hospital, perhaps as a stepping stone to a specialized unit at the university hospital, for a longer stay. A place where* label—often presented as a fact—and other label linked to the previous one, can finally be further investigated, questioned, and clarified.

Next Tuesday marks 85 days in general hospital, I still don’t know much... except that the way your own reality gets reinterpreted again and again by the care system, often without ground but always with impact,
might be the biggest concern of all.

It's never been necessary to involuntarily use the isolation room where all the bedding is blue. It's simply the least stimulating room here, even more so than the comfort room. It has often been necessary voluntarily. It's confronting, but by writing openly about it, I want to help break the taboo.

The first drawing in my new sketchbook. I'm drawing the details in it, of what will become a painting. I definitely want to try. I might share the finished versions of the sketches they're talking about later. Strangely enough, it's a way for me to discover and express my own emotions and feelings.
