It's like watching a loud idiot get a third of the way across a raging river and then turn around and declare he's made it and he's such a genius and convincing a bunch of people to come join him on his tiny rock. Then a bunch of people who are smart enough to not go yet decide it's impossible.

This is one of the things I am most pissed about with the bubble. Artificial Intelligence does work; what the techbros call AI doesn't because it's just a stepping stone and won't be on an indefinite timeline; which means you cannot make promises about it.
