UPDATE: We are deeply disappointed by today’s decision to delay release of hundreds of people arrested & detained in violation of consent decree & federal law. Chicago families continue to be separated.

Hurricane Melissa is now a Category 5 hurricane with winds up to 160 mph it heads towards Jamaica. At least seven hurricane-related deaths have been reported across the Caribbean so far, with three each in Jamaica and Haiti and one in the DR.
