I turned off GMail’s smart features since it allows them to scan your emails and attachments for genAI training but it also removes the Inbox|Purchases|Updates|Promos tabs when you do that. And now I’m finding thousands of old emails I had no idea were still being stored that go back to 2009.

My new standard for the minimum standard of wealth for everyone is being able to afford one of those heated driveways that melts snow for you so you don’t have to shovel it.

This post has gained some traction so as an ex-evangelical let me say it’s not just the girls. Evangelicalism is definitely sexist and boys are treated better but ALL evangelical kids are pushed into abstinence and purity culture. I signed one of these pledges with dozens of other boys.

A weird thing about working at an international company is I will often schedule a message to @simonbuckmaster.net during my afternoon, his evening that starts with “good morning” and sends at 4:30am my time.

I’m approaching 20 hours in Hades 2 and it’s great but the resource economy is way too over engineered and putting the upgrade menus for spells, cards, and weapon aspects that require you to walk to makes the time at the Crossroads a real slog.
