Ish. The train and even bus system are amongst the best in the world. But housing costs are insane especially in accessible places so you do still get lots of people having little choice but to live in car centric areas.
As Taras says though its fine though as if they do speed they pay a sane fine.

I don't get people who get a loan to buy a new car.
If your finances are that bad but you need a car, then it makes so much more sense to buy second hand.

I thought a bit about this today and you know it does make sense. Maybe explains more than anything the decline of libraries.
Though I think there's a new books are too cheap disclaimer. I miss 20+ years ago how common cheap second hand book shops were. Old and new book prices have converged.

The lack of standardisation across the NHS is a pain.
Once my GP said I needed an x-ray. Luckily the x-ray room was just downstairs and they had slot right now ....
But it was technically ran by a hospital, they used a totally different system which was misbehaving so the GPs request didnt arrive.

Did you see the one in Durham a few weeks back where they said they'd cut pointless green energy schemes and put the money into social services.... Cutting the solar scheme cost them 70k.
It's all ideologically driven culture war nonsense with suspicious big money backers.

People are weird. Do a poll of KKK members and odds are good most voted Trump... Though you will find some who voted Dem. Same too on the otherside. Someone you'd think ticks all the boxes for being chill... But who loves trump.

If you want to talk about star trek you have to specifically seek out and register for the star trek space.
No randomers getting your messages served up and replying with hate. Trolls have to put effort in to specifically target a place.
