#SAFC.
Right result in the end. Though the lack of goals from such dominance was painful.
Great goal that did go in.
Christ #NUFC are dirty as hell. And the ref was squarely on their side.
This keeps happening. What's the point of #VAR if it's not being used?

No half time subs for #safc it seems. Really should have took Brobbey off I think. Hope I'm proven wrong.

Another case of referees hate Sunderland today it seems.

This line really needs more attention outside the local area. By all I've seen it really does seem to be shaping up to be a perfect cast study for building local transport lines to spur development.

You know what always bothered me about typical fantasy settings.
Desert guys have fire magic.
Tundra guys have ice magic.
Surely they'd be better off switching powers?

I nearly missed this. They've put out the 'Forth Yards Masterplan' for consultation, 2 weeks left.
The housing plan looks great. Medium density and mixed.
But they've also squeezed in a "High Line" linear park on the disused railway. This is amazingly short term thinking and needs objecting to.

Yeah yeah housing crisis, shortage of materials etc....
But no. THIS is the reason we need to bring back small scale local brick makers.
I’ve posted this before but the light was perfect today- a little Victorian cat paw in a brick at the front of the old Norfolk & Norwich Hospital. As this is on the front-facing corner of the main gates, the bricklayer quite clearly put it there on purpose, at a height where children would spot it.

This is an interesting 'bad AI' post.... but far more interesting in my mind is that its a sign of how organisations are cutting the workforce to stupid and self harming levels. This is half a mile from Lancaster Station. In past times they could just send the junior station master to check.
Trains were cancelled in Lancaster, UK, after an AI-generated image that seemed to show major damage to a railway bridge was posted on social media following an earthquake.

Great British Railways puts me in mind of a super sentei show reboot. Follow up to the earlier British Railways series.
Expect it to last a few years but then be replaced by Ultra British Railways.

This site lets you see what metro lines would look like if they were built somewhere else. If Norwich had the Tube, the Metropolitan line would terminate almost exactly in my village. That'd be handy. wbholland.github.io/trainspose/

The Ashes. Weird innit.
I've never really got international cricket. So you've, what, 6-8 good teams, 5ish decent ones and the rest in football equivalents are basically Luxembourg?
So the 6 good teams just play each other in the same fixtures every year?
I wonder if fans care about the limits.

#safc draw a bad ref again. Hume literally headbutted by the Liverpool defender and.... Nothing.

Not news to many on BS I imagine but nonetheless interesting to see the bbc actually paying attention to this. If even such a conservative bastion is talking about it....

So #safc got to be first on MOTD tonight surely.
But Bournemouth. Man. The ref gave them so much leeway. Should have had more then one off....

So #safc.... Giving away a pen should have meant a yellow card (thus red) for that Bournemouth guy yeah?

I got to go all car brain here but.... How very annoying. A line of 20 vehicular cyclists trundling down the road holding up the bus... And in a place where there's a perfectly fine and lengthy stretch of actual B-grade raised cycle lane right next to them...
