This is the correct take. Stewing in white supremacist propaganda is bad for your thinking. And if think you are so savvy that it won’t impact you, you are the exact kind of mark they are slowly converting (I’m looking at you, centrist pundits).
It’s really funny how a generation will roll its eyes at parents who watch Fox News but doesn’t see why being immersed in Twitter is having the same effect. Lots of serious people show up on Fox News too but that shouldn’t be your primary source on the news.

This! The same is true for paying government workers. For example, one of the reasons why Bernie Madoff was able to get away with running a Ponzi scheme for so long was because the SEC didn’t pay enough to attract the people with the skills. Talent isn’t cheap. You get what you pay for.
People think that because nonprofits are mission-oriented charitable organizations the people that lead them and work there are not supposed to get paid.
Newsflash: nonprofits are companies. What’s different is they don’t pay profits to shareholders.

I was just thinking about contributing to the "charity" Feeding America. Until I discovered that the salary for its CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, was approximately $949,866 in 2024, with her total compensation being $1,113,502. Apparently, feeding America isn't her top priority.

As someone that works in big law, I think it’s WILD how much first & second years make. Firms want to attract talented law students but there has to be a better way lol. The US legal field should adopt a 2-year apprenticeship program with lower expectations and lower pay.
