Not once have I seen an explanation for why teenagers must hear things that upset them in virtue of the unspecified speech-acts being upsetting, nor have I ever seen an explanation for why teenagers will be forbidden to express displeasure with upsetting things.

i watched a documentary about him a while back and it's very clear from early on but they made a real point of being ambiguous, even at the end it's a bit "many people have said this, will we ever really know?!? (yes)"

need to start watching romantic comedies again, used to watch all the old 50s ones and i kinda ran out but i probably need to take a deep dive into the careers of jennifer anniston and sandra bullock, 90s seems like fertile ground. hallmark movies as well, feel the need for some real slush

we did some research on the rockwell follow-up album a while back but sadly it failed to live up to his early promise, this passage on the wiki entry is esp brutal

As Rockwell had done on his previous album, he solicited the help of another prominent recording artist to sing with him on the first single. Instead of Michael Jackson, however, this time he got Stevie Wonder to record the song "He's a Cobra" with him.[2] The song was a flop.

The next single, "Peeping Tom", appeared on the soundtrack to The Last Dragon,[3] but it too was a disappointment.
