In October, statewide news reported that a sheriff's deputy in Texas searched thousands of Flock cameras in Washington for 'Had an abortion, search for female.’ New documents obtained by RANGE show Spokane County Sheriff's Office cameras were accessed in that search:

DOGE was created for data theft and infrastructure dismantling and it wildly succeeded on both counts within the first few weeks of its existence. It will take a generation to rebuild what it destroyed and the breach of data is unprecedented.

With mercury in retrograde, doing a long thread seems inadvisable, but this is some deeply irresponsible criminal justice reporting. It does the propublica goal to "hold someone accountable", but do they truly understand the system they are critiquing?
Six young Black moms were allegedly killed by suspects who were on probation but not being monitored in person by probation officers because of a warrant out for their arrest.

Their deaths left 12 children without mothers.

This Pennsylvania county stopped charging people 'lodging fees' for the time they spent in jail. Then commissioners voted to forgive over $65 million in these fees.
