New on Always Liverpool | Andy Robertson's moment, both beautiful and devastating, told us everything about how Liverpool's players are still coping with the loss of their dear Diogo. We haven't afforded them enough grace.

Robbie Gibb was appointed to the BBC Board by Boris Johnson, was an editorial advisor for GB News, and worked as Theresa May's Director of Comms.

He is not impartial or neutral. The government should remove him from the Board immediately to protect the BBC's independence.

Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.

Not a football fan? Feel like maybe this show isn’t for you? Think again! ‘Derby Days’ at the Royal Court is one for all with its witty dialogue, engaging pace and strong cast. With only four cast members, the play relies on the excellent dynamic between them all, and they deliver as a fantastic foursome. The play follows married couple Dave Derby (Dominic Carter) and Debbie Day (Sarah White) who both support the ‘other side’.

Invest in drama for young people. Drama in schools. It isn’t about making ‘stars’. It’s about widening horizons. Human empathy and understanding. A bigger world. It saved my life. It should be there for everyone.

Green leader Zack Polanski calls for Farage’s resignation over tax, on BBC Any Questions:

"Farage has changed his personal business to make sure he could avoid tax for his appearances on GBNews. That’s perfectly legal, but is that in the Nolan Principles? Absolutely not. [He should] step down too.”

Let’s clear up some facts. There is no such thing as an “illegal immigrant”. The UK DOES NOT grant asylum visas overseas, except for very limited schemes (except large schemes for Ukraine and Hong Kong).Refugees can only claim for asylum when in the UK. So their fate can only be decided, once here.

So, very quietly, the IOPC add to their original report and basically confirm the existence of the cover up.
For late/overseas types
Latest update to the IOPC report over Hillsborough finds Bettison guilty of gross misconduct and throws dead SYP chief constable under a bus. Another reason why we need a duty of candour

Thanks to the lovely people at Violette I got a stream of this album yesterday.
It’s magnificent.
Elegant and subtle and spacious and kaleidoscopic, it’s possibly their best album yet, it definitely contains at least two of the best songs they’ve written:
