Part of the problem is people got it in their minds that if you are not "literally pushing yourself beyond your limits" then your not putting in "real" effort
We can say from personal experience, all overexerting does is burn you out at best... Or will literally be the death of you

I do agree with this.
For every story you hear about an actor blowing their vocal chords or passing out etc during a session because of how hard they're going, there are innumerable performers who did the same thing without these issues.
That's where the praise should be going.

I just feel like martyr mentality and praising sacrifice of the body for the art can get into really unsafe territory and maybe we shouldn't do it so much. I care about my fellow actors and don't want them hurting themselves. Anyway, rant over.

This is part of why the industry went all in on "AI": they've run out of stuff.
You can buy faster computers, sure, but unless you're doing some high level shit like compiling or rendering you won't really notice so much.
You can only launch Chrome so quickly, after all.

Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac has just enough quality of life changes that does make this system gravitate towards it over the original, part of it too is the game feels more like a re-imagining then standard remake
