You'll be so caught up in Woundcutter's Soulsighter Journey or whatever the hell that you'll just forget all about those covers.

Rolex subreddit post:

My uncle has Alzheimer's and is often forgetful of his possessions. One of them is a Rolex Submariner. Would I be justified in taking and caring for it as my own instead of having it left neglected and forgotten in his jewelry box? Thanks.

I've lived in Tennessee all my life and I've met more Mennonites than I have Italians. Why aren't we celebrating Mennonite holidays?

In response to my piece about Columbus Day, people were curious what the map would look like including a broader definition of Native American. So here it is! Piece has been written through, too. www.pbump.net/o/resolving-...

Earlier I was thinking about how much it would suck to get cataracts or glaucoma. Now I'm thinking about the advantages.

The bar is set awfully high here in 2025. The only people who still think their kink is the weird one are either very religious, very repressed, or they're what little is left of the true fringe. At least until that gets mainstreamed, just like furries and clowns.

I've heard this story before and I hope to hear it again.

With a roll of coins, quarters I think.

We'll just overlook how exactly Rockford egged him on, which was a slightly toned down version of how Paul Newman egged that guy on in Harper.

My least favorite part of social media, and there's plenty of competition, is that at any given moment, we're only about six clicks away from this.

We all know that John Carpenter's The Thing got shafted in theaters, largely due to opening just two weeks after Steven Spielberg's E.T. the Extraterrestrial. Tobe Hooper's Lifeforce opened the same day as Ron Howard's Cocoon, with very similar results.

If the voice on the Lifeforce trailer sounds familiar, it certainly should. That's the legendary Percy Rodriguez. All due respect to Don LaFontaine, for me, Rodriguez was the best to ever do it.

I'm sure everyone was expecting me to follow up The Quatermass Xperiment with Quatermass 2, as is the natural order of things. BUT NO! In a move that nobody saw coming, a movie that nobody saw coming, especially from director Tobe Hooper.

It's October, the weather has turned cool, which body part is going to remind me every day for the foreseeable future?

A) Right hand that I've broken 3-4 times.
B) Pinky of left hand that I cut punching through a window.
C) Knee I busted falling on ice outside Dollar General.

👉D) That one tooth.

Secret to a happy life? Make the least of your weekend.

Saturday and Sunday, don't do anything. Don't party. Don't mow the lawn. Don't clean your house. Don't do a crossword. Just rest.

Monday morning, go into work bright eyed and bushy tailed, then burn that motherfucker to the ground.
