I find it appalling that one should grovel, allow oneself and one's people to be humiliated, and attempt to bribe the American president. Even worse is seeing that it appears to be working.

Greenland's Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen announced that "If we have to choose between the United States and Denmark here and now, we choose Denmark. We choose NATO, the Kingdom of Denmark, and the EU."
His title is Naalakkersuisut - a Greenlandic word that means "Those who decide".

This is also a problem of culture understanding.
I do realize that Mr. Trump isn’t interested in understanding things, and that he doesn’t want expert advice on anything.

But for Nordic people, it is an absolute no-brainer that the Nobel Prize cannot be transfererred. The very idea is ludicrous.

Fremtiden er ikke at myndighederne bruger amerikanske tech-platforme som en direkte kommunikationskanal. De skal have deres egen hjemmeside. Det er så fint hvis nogen laver en robot som omdanner deres RSS-feed til SoMe-opslag, men de bør selv have kontrol med første instans.
