There are some brilliant ones. But an awful lot involve doing a low wage job and getting limited training.

They're a tough choice for the trades to take on, esp when budgets and overheads are tight. Take on a youngster and it will slow your work down, generally, if you're teaching them as you should. But also, can be very rewarding.

I've worked sorting office as a Christmas Temp for Royal Mail many times.
It's basically mind-numbing, tedious, yet also a perfect entry to the workplace for fast readers like me.
