Vancouver’s urban tree canopy, and the “kissing canopies” over the streets the mature trees create, are one of our city’s most important assets. Cooling, cleaning, beautifying and strengthening the city while integrating urban life with nature for livability. Great pics via @traffictrish.bsky.social

Not even hiding the blatant entitlement anymore.

The Premier's Office continues to remove all checks and balances on its power.

The courts, the legislature, the Auditor General, independent agencies, the federal government, voters and candidates they don't like...

This is getting ridiculous.

There’s a reason hate mongers and disinformationists like #AndrewLawton are so concerned. They want no consequences for their hate entrepreneurship, disinformation spreading and destabilization efforts against 🇨🇦’s civil society. bsky.app/profile/heat... #cdnpoli
Something else I’d like to add about #AndrewLawton, #PierrePoilievre’s handpicked #CPC candidate in London, On. Lawton’s racist misogynist views, weren’t just evident in many years past (which he blamed on mental illness), Lawton continued to dog whistle to white nationalists, much more recently.
18 Months for fomenting insurrection seems a bit light. Hopefully that's the end of hearing from both of them. If they really believe the BS they spouted during the border incidents they can leave Canada, never to return, yes?

I just tuned in to the Carney/Trump Oval Office presser... Jesus, I wish someone would shut Trump up. He lies faster than anyone can fact check. Mark Carney may be the best diplomatic PM we've ever had #cdnpoli #tariffs #BoycottUSA

Like David Eby said, we do not need a distractions office or a major political office. Danielle Smith’s “pipeline” is not a real project it is just politics. She is still tangled in scandals, flirting with Alberta separation, and last fall she was at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.

Danielle Smith is unfit to lead.

Calgary loses more jobs. Alberta conservatives have lost nearly 45,000 jobs since 2014. Only ~5,000 were lost under the Alberta NDP.

The lack of accountability is the point.

It’s easier to pretend you aren’t failing students, teachers, and parents if you stopped collecting evidence showing you’re doing exactly that.
"Although the province stopped tracking class sizes in 2019, educators say anecdotally their classrooms are becoming increasingly jammed."

Honestly wild Alberta stopped tracking this data and we now have to rely on anecdotal evidence when it comes to a key issue holding up a new teachers contract.

For anyone saying the new PC’s don’t have the potential to be a game changer…

Here’s the voting intentions without them in the mix…

The UCP cruise to another majority

But with the PC’s in the game?

The UCP are quickly relegated to third place.

No wonder Smith is scared!
