This is absolutely our experience with Siri. iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, all great. Work perfectly. On HomePod? Bryan just had to fight a pitched battle to play his sleep playlist. He actually lost this battle because it ended up on MY sleep playlist & he just settled for that.

Immediately reminded of the post discussing how special effects artists often have to CGI dogs tails in film and TV because trained performance dogs are usually delighted to be working and will wag their tails all over the place, even when it makes no sense for the story

it is SO FUNNY when you're watching a show with horses in it and within the plot of the show the horses are **»"»"upset"but the way they communicate this is by placing a nervous nickering sound bite over what is clearly a calm horse placidly performing a practiced trick

like clearly this is the correct and humane way to pretend a horse is upset and unhappy but it's soooo funny like this guys ears aren't even pinned back!! he's just vibing!!! dude did the least amount of rearing to get his apple treats and he can see his handler right behind the camera already reaching into the treat bag!! he's getting a good grade in being a good little boy and his mommy is going to be so proud

Caveat to the last point - almost every rat you see in TV is a she; male rats have just absolutely enormous balls and they don't want to show that on the camera!

Today that means wearing this skirt & these boots, going to Ulta & getting Urban Decay eyeshadow & MAC lipstick, & getting a Starbucks coffee.

Me in a Target Starbucks. I’m a middle aged redheaded lady wearing tortoiseshell, framed glasses, a black bandanna, and a black top. I have on a delightful shade of lipstick from MAC which is a slightly mauve beige/brown color with a blue prismatic shimmer you can’t see in the pic.

My feet. I am wearing a black and red buffalo plaid skirt and a pair of patent leather Doc Martens platform boots that are black in the center & fade to red at the heel & toe

I've gotten to where I usually sleep from 3 or 4am to 11am or noon-ish. That way I can still do afternoon appointments for doctor or dentist visits or just to get out & run errands, but it's still not hard to scoot those hours a little further when I'm working 7p to 7a.

At this point in my career I have transitioned to living nocturnally all the time, so I haven't been flipping between the night shifts. I really only do that anymore for vacations. But that one day shift...what the hell. I was groggy & grumpy & useless.
