Just thinking how, this time last year, I was planning 2025 to be a year of writing and growing. How I'd picked a word for the year and wrote a document laying my creative plans.

Now, using an LLM to get past the point where you feel like you’re chiseling the words out of stone tablets located inside your ribcage is still a terrible idea, don’t get me wrong. I just worry that in the haste to condemn LLMs, we’re over-romanticizing the human creative process.

I've been surprised by how quickly they've developed feelings for each other, and by friendships with other characters that I hadn't planned, but the romance has never been derailed.

This was the course which taught me that plotting and my brain don't get along. A vital lesson, really, as I had to work out *why* it wasn't working.
And I still recommend it as it's a really good course and ymmv.
