Crowds are showing up🔥

Brooklyn and the Bronx both hit capacity as New Yorkers train to protect their communities from #ICE and stand up for their neighbors.

More trainings are coming, and a full weekend of community action is set for Dec 12–14.

#December7: “A date which will live in infamy.”

This is a day to reflect on the darkness that can envelope the world, with world fascism rising & democracy laid low.

We fought back—both brave military and a united country.

Let’s dedicate ourselves to American democracy with the same courage now.
On National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, we honor the 2,403 service members & civilians who lost their lives during the attack on December 7, 1941.

We will never forget the courage, service & sacrifice of the Greatest Generation.

It was the Summer of ‘85 when I graduated High School & LIVE AID was the big new thing. The world’s greatest artists gathered to sing to spread the word about poverty & hunger in Africa.

I loved it & in my naïveté, I thought this was the direction the world was heading in..

..sadly I was wrong 🙁

Ann Lowe was the Black genius behind Jackie Kennedy’s iconic wedding gown.

Before the fashion world was ready to credit a Black woman’s talent, Lowe was already designing for America’s most powerful families. Brilliant. Bold. Innovative. Undervalued. And nearly erased from history.

Our democracy is a living organism.
The institutions are the body.
We, the people, are the soul.

Our democracy has an Immune System.
When virus attack the body, the soul is troubled and the immune system kicks in so we:

1. Organize, Fight, Boycott
2. Peacefully protest
3. Vote like never before

Jesus, @cnn.com you put Stephen Miller’s wife on the air

How many times do we have to say it

WHITE SUPREMACY IS NOT A VALID VIEWPOINT

IT DOES NOT DESERVE ANY AIR TIME. EVER

AND BY ALLOWING HER ON A NATIONAL PROGRAM, YOU ARE NORMALIZING HATRED

You are part of the problem

Stephen Miller’s wife Katie Miller: “We are removing every single illegal alien… a majority of those removed have had serious violent crimes.” 🤥

@bakarisellers.bsky.social : “That’s FALSE.”

Abby Phillip: “Based on DHS’s own data, a majority have NOT had violent criminal records.”
