No kings protesters standing along the Highway/main road in Worland Wyoming! The second protest anyone remembers happening (the first was the June no kings).

Weird. Because 150 people showed up in Worland Wyoming for the second ever protest people remember in town (the first was June’sNO KINGS). And I’m pretty certain that’s massive news.

The county is larger than Delaware with less than 8,000 people. I drove 40 miles to get here.

150 patriotic America Loving Americans gathered to protect our friends, community, laws, constitution and neighbors. In a town with a coffee shop in the quick lube and a three county radius without a Walmart in the reddest state in the union.

I love seeing the massive crowds in big cities. It feels powerful.

But. So did the protest of 150 I joined in the middle of Wyoming.

I drove 40 miles to a county of7500 people that’s larger than the state of Delaware to join the 150ish people.

That’s also powerful.

No kings protestors gathered in Worland Wyoming.

Yay Idaho neighbors!!! That’s amazing!!!

A crowd of Protesters in Worland Wyoming. A county larger than the state of Delaware with 4,700 people in it. This crowd of 150 is huge if you consider the population density and the fact that a lot of this crowd voted 1,2 or 3 times for Trump!

For context- the county is larger than the whole state of Delaware and 4,700 live in the town.

That’s a WHOLE LOTTA PEOPLE who vote red red Republican a whole lotta the time.

In a place where 79% of the voters voted for him 3 times, 100 people willing to join their first protest, and stand at the main intersection is petty dang impressive. I drove 33miles(53ish km) to join my neighbors. Don’t be disheartened if it looks sparse, it’s MASSIVE!

So, it might be hard to achieve the feeling of density but that’s really discounting the enormity of the distances. At the last protest here, there were 98 people. This was THE FIRST PROTEST anyone there remembered happening.

I live in Wyoming. This state is larger in land area than the whole UK. Witha total population less than 600,000 people. Tomorrow there are at least 14 scheduled protests. I’m going to one in a county roughly half the size of Northern Ireland with 7,000 people living in it.

A group of protestors in a park in Worland Wyoming, there were almost 100 people here in a very small town in a very big state with very few people. There are as many protestors here as there would be people at a high school football game. It might not look like much, but it was huge for here!

It’s awful that this happened because Matthew Shepard was gay, but it’s significantly more shameful to act like that wasn’t a factor in what happened!

Why him from the bar? Why lynch a robbery victim? They didn’t murder him. That’s the thing, they beat him, humiliated him and then left him strung in a fence with no regard that he was still alive. Name another robbery victim this happened to-none?

You’re clinging to a preposterous stance-have you tried to examine the reason you need to? If we apply any intersectional framework that includes Mathew Shepard’s sexuality it makes all the parts of the crime make sense, and discounting that is unreasonable.

There is no moral time to wake up. Early birds (me) get morality credit for something that’s easy for us and condemn those who struggle.

It’s unethical to make morally neutral differences into a moral hierarchy because it perpetuates immoral hierarchies like white supremacist patriarchy!

As a student at UW at the time, I learned then that deflection and denial was the preferred mechanism. The amount of “it wasn’t because he was gay-it was a drug deal gone wrong” was sickening-I didn’t understand at the time those same people were preparing to kill everyone they didn’t like.

USE the shut down.

No legislation until military personnel can only be deployed to aid in natural disasters and ICE has to have a personal warrant BEFORE they can detain anyone!

Do not fund the regime’s attempt at domestic terrorism.

1) Find a caregiver support group!
2)Call your local senior center, Home Health, hospice and Senior support places and ask for help/recommendations. They have great tips!
3) Be kind to yourself.
4) Equipment helps! Hand held shower, bedside commode over a toilet, shower chair, bed rails…etc

Circumcumcision reduces the transmission of HPV, the cause of cervical cancer. The vaccine is significantly better. Vaccinating people is the better option. But removing both vaccination and circumcision will absolutely increase the rate of cervical cancer.

My son’s autism makes some things a challenge-but some things easy. One easy thing is for him is to say “this is right so I’m going to do it, that’s wrong so I won’t”

I presume that’s why the regime is so concerned to label autism a problem. There’s no wrong they won’t do and no right they will.

Icicles are: brittle, fragile, and ineffective swords-also the word sounds both like ick and testicle. With ineffective testicles, broken swords and ick in mind- I propose we henceforth refer to the masked kidnappers torturing our neighbors as "icicles".
