I don't want kisses, cuddles, sex, or hugs in general. There have been 1 or 2 people I've wanted those things with in the history of my life, but absent those people and our deep emotional connections, I do not desire acts of physical intimacy. It's fascinating and seems kind of difficult.

One thing I really like about Bsky is I have absolutely no way to predict which posts are gonna get ignored and which ones will randomly get 10+ likes. Never would've guessed this one.

Oh they'd exclude all my mental health problems as pre-existing lmao. But still I do not know that I will always be physically able to work, so it might be a good investment while I have the resources.

Indeed, I never had a b'mitzvah and there's also a sadness in me about that. But I think we've both done something incredible by returning to a heritage that very easily could have been forgotten.

I know this bc I showed up to Kabbalat Shabbat for the first time when I was 28 and didn't know how to pray.

I was raised totally secular, we went to my aunt's for Passover until I was maybe 11 and then after that just did Hanukkah. So I had little exposure and had to learn everything as an adult and reconnect. It takes a lot of bravery to show up at a shul when you don't have the "traditional" background

Yeah I didn't go to shul or know any Hebrew til I was 18, I just happened to sign up for a Modern Hebrew class cuz General Chemistry was full lol

I did it! But somehow my entire apartment exploded in the process and I cannot see the floor or walk in it anymore.

Once again i unfortunately am asking for your help - though i have been continuously trying, i still have been rejected from every job ive applied for and have no income.

my birthday is also Halloween, and it would just be nice if could get ~$550 to be able to make rent.
