hi i'm Haru Bun and i draw cool art!
here's my updated commission sheet; please dm me here on bluesky or add me on discord (haru.bun) for details!
the yellow banner is similar to the veleyese family banner, but in fact are kind of opposites. in veley, you wear your family's banner, and the rest you can personalize, while in dotăs, you'd wear clothes that are designed to be worn together, so your personality shines through with the banner
right: coro - dottese fashion
here we see the dottese dinner jacket
dottese clothes have a unifying colour scheme, because the dottese value the aesthetic of harmony and cohesiveness, so in formal situations in dotăs you're expected to wear clothing that are from the same set
the rope on the dress is modelled after a net, because the first queen of althaqua was supposedly washed ashore tangled in rags and a fishnet
althaquians bring their own cup around because they think it is misfortunate or taboo to drink from another's cup. this one is made of stainless steel, but wealthier rabbits would make theirs out of silver or another material, or inlay gemstones into it
centre: marsil - althaquian fashion
the althaquian coat and shirt is meant to evoke a sailor theme; althaqua is a big maritime power after all. althaquian culture favours individual expression, so it's common to wear bold colours or mix and match
around the waist is a family banner, and is traditional to not just veley but also many neighbouring nations. it is almost always black, but every family or clan has a different design on it
jade bracelets are currently in fashion in veley as well; their green makes a beautiful contrast to the white
left: chloe - veleyese fashion
veleyese love wearing white; it is their formal colour.
they think that keeping a formal whitegown clean is a sign of civility, and incorporate bits of lace, pleats, ruffles, and other difficult-to-maintain elements.
rabbit fashion from my setting
featuring @saltycupcake095.bsky.social's chloe and @zephyfoxy.art's marsil as cool rabbers

saw a friend in europe this year and got convinced to create this. i'm convinced paella is the greatest culinary invention west of the caucasus but i'm happy to be proven wrong
