All of the companies that make the software I use are increasing their prices, to account for an "investment" in AI.

I'm sat here imagining how my clients would feel if I added 30% to each invoice, because I "really got into gambling".

Feeling a bit off today, light headed, and one of my kids, deadpan, goes "do you think it's because you've been spinning on your office chair all day?" And I love that they think I do what they do on my chair during work.

If the govt had half a brain between them, no more contracts should be awarded to BAM until this hospital is finished and this legal action withdrawn. We are watching Billions of public money wasted here. I'd never allow them construct a bike shed for the State again.

Construction firm BAM to take legal action against National Children's Hospital
It’s the latest in the saga between the firm and the hospital, which has been delayed by years.

Is this the same culture of caution that saw the spending of 300k on a bike shelter? jrnl.ie/6891273
The government has a new plan to speed up big infrastructure projects - here's what's in it
It is being billed as a “move away from a culture of caution” when it comes to delivering much needed infrastructure.

Funny getting an ad for VW talking about the Beetle being where it all started (in Ireland in the 50s)... but when you go further back and understand how VW and the Beetle originally came about, honestly... I wouldn't be exactly highlighting it 🤔

Brexit and Covid meant I learned more about UK politics than I ever wanted to know. Seeing that Jonathan Gullis wanker defect from a party of wankers to a party of bigger wankers certainly is funny. Guess he'll be complaining about not being hireable in the near future again.

Obviously not that committed as it's been a year and nothing has happened

Turning into Joe Biden? Haha, a 34 felony rapist turning into Biden. He's a boy scout in comparison to Trump, and I'm not even an USian. Most of the world can see this surely. The insane takes are jumping the shark, I hope 3i/atlas swerves into us.
Donald Trump had reasonable concerns about how Joe Biden’s relatives enriched themselves through his service. Yet his own family is making the “Biden crime family” look small-time
How Donald Trump is turning into Joe Biden
It’s about more than denying inflation

Your annual reminder that the most revealing difference between Irish and Scottish Gaelic is definitely in the words for December: Mí na Nollag (Month of Christmas) in Ireland, and An Dubhlachd (the Blackness) in Scotland. So once again may I wish you all a lovely Blackness.

One sure fire way to stop these absolute wanker landlords is to award the plaintiff the house, and it sets a precedent for landlords like to behave. Because this is egregious abuse of the landlord-tenant relationship.

(I know it's not realistic)

Is it usual to regularly find columnists who encompass all three?
There are 3 types of newspapers columns

I am extraordinarily thick

They can, obviously, overlap

It doesn't. It didn't take into account the needs of Brits. We should have had negotiated directly with the other countries rather than Brussels.
