Logging it to #spéirgorm to see what existential breakdown the US has had overnight
I lived in NZ for a few years and during busy time periods around say public holidays they do "double demerit points" as a deterrent. It's not enough to urge. You need to enforce compliance with sufficient deterrents

Never want to hear that Biden was a "decent man" ever again.

He pretended he saw beheaded children and said he had "no confidence" in the death toll in Gaza.
NEW: The Israeli military today accepted the Gaza Health Ministry's estimate of 70,000+ killed.

But in 2024, 62 Dems joined 207 Republicans to ban the State Dept. from citing the Ministry's stats.

Now, even Israel accepts them — perhaps because they realize what is feared: the toll is even higher.

Does the UK launching that 20 min AI course for everyone have anything to do with justifying this expected growth in usage numbers?

The one thing that has and will radicalise me:

* Criticising Met Éireann for forecasting the weather
* Calling Ms Rachel an anti-Semite

Thank you for coming to my ShiteTalk

I read this, and this is why I couldn't work in comms or PR as my response would have been "STFU and build houses you dope" and this isn't even close to how the responded.

I genuinely don't get why social media hasn't been banned outright. It spreads disinformation, it has ruined people's lives, it's largely toxic. It has eroded the media.

These companies aren't treated as publishers and are never held liable, including for the production and dissemination of CSAM.

Ronaldo can play in the WC because FIFA suspended the last two matches of his suspension, so this is typical FIFA horseshit as per usual.

We can look back to comments prior to Storm Chandra, to the likes of Babet, Éowyn, Ophelia etc. and for him to say in October that certain projects wouldn't go ahead because they'd be polarising? This is only going to get costlier.

For Ministers to call out Met Éireann is farcical

We need to get real. Met Éireann is not to blame for flooding damage - poor planning, building on flood plains, not implementing over 20 years of remedial action are. We were warned decades ago winter rain would increase, but continued doing nothing and built on space needed for water #spéirghorm

Blaming the weather man for the weather while spending the last 4 decades willfully ignoring climate science to the extent we face billions in fines because of EU emissions rules. A government of out and out grifters and clowns.
Minister James Browne said Met Éireann needs to make a 'judgement call' rather than solely relying on mathematical formulas when it comes to issuing weather warnings jrnl.ie/6940649

James Browne is in FF. Instead of whinging that met eireann didn't give flood alerts he could get off his hole and look around at the lack of action that his party has taken on climate for decades.
There will be more severe, unpredictable flooding. Yet JB and FF are content to nothing

""It was a momentary lapse in attention - a matter of seconds that had catastrophic consequences for Ms Watters and her family," Judge Crowe said."

I'm stunned by this. Admits he killed her and she has effectively said to the family "well, thems the breaks, move on now".

The gov't have had years and years of tragedies to solve the issue of scramblers. This happened in 2017. So we had the chance to ensure nobody else's life was ruined then, and didn't.

They'll react now for optics. I'll never forget this harrowing story.

And what was really funny about him and his vaccine skepticism was he did every drug going in college to the point where he barely turned up and repeated multiple years.
During the pandemic some dose I went to college with was posting anti-vaxx nonsense on Twitter he'd rEsEArChed so I proceeded to tell him his whole IT role could be done by reading StackOverflow and I trolled him enough he deleted his account.
