A pretty flawless movie. Warm, hilarious, great songs and just brilliantly written. Michael Caine makes the whole film by playing it straight as an arrow. I love it as much today as I did in 1992

A sumptuously shot samurai revenge western set in Scotland (obviously).
A lot darker and more deliberately paced than I was expecting, but engaging performances from Tim Roth and Koki and an unreal job by DOP Robbie Ryan make for a really decent watch
