A work in progress page from Finish Lines. The first panel shows a girl and her grandfather in a canoe, both yawning. Panels 2-4 feature the tree limb they don’t see until it’s too late and their canoe is about to hit it. The grandfather yells “Holy shit!” as they attempt to dodge the limb. The final panel shows them falling out of the canoe as it hits the submerged tree with a massive “CRACK” sound effect in the background.

Héctor stumbles, clutching their stomach. They pull away their hands and see they are bleeding from their groin, having miscarried their child. Héctor falls over, tumbling down the sand dune. The page features these lyrics:

Two dwarven wardens explore the deep roads in a nightmare realm.

Ok so I don’t think Zevran dislikes flowers as romantic gifts, but he thought Bryn wouldn’t want them at first, then when they got closer he believed flowers were a cheap seduction trick he didn’t want to associate with his growing affection. Bryn however was a much softer heart than his-(2/3)

Zevran looks over sarcastically at Bryn, saying “Tsk! How unoriginal. Could not even come up with their own favorite flowers…” Next to him, Bryn is crying and thinking “How romantic!” Above them two arrows point to them reading “Have never gifted each other flowers”

"If your OCs worked a shitty retail/food service job in a modern setting, what would it be?" I think they’d each be pretty good at these, Bryan has pretty endless patience and Elinor loves things that smell nice; Héctor sold a beer to a 16yo once tho and can’t live it down elefluff.straw.page

Emmrich shimmies excitedly as he chews the zucchini, saying “Delicious as always, my dear!” Next to him, Halsin contentedly eats some of the ham, exclaiming “Mmm… fantastic work!” Shadowheart also eats the ham but quietly thinks “Too sweet…” Zevran struggles to bite a censored blob on a fork saying “Surely it cannot be so bad… I will not allow your name to be tarnished this way, mi amor.” But he is cut off by Bryn offscreen yelling “No, Zev! You’ll die!”

Oh no anyc is good if you have anime!! Its more like AX; but I only do ok at AX cause I sell more video games etc so its not really my market haha;;

But yea! All the reedpop cons (NYCC, ECCC, and C2E2) are pretty difficult to get into (besides maybe FL supercon) so DR is a better bet sometimes

I’m in DR cause my friend is tabling and I’m just helping + selling a couple small things (DR is hard to get into and expensive but once you’re in it’s easier to get in again so some artists prefer it)
