As everyone knew it would, this World Cup is shaping up to be an absolutely world class rip-off.

Another day, another raft of depressing stories about the World Cup in America. It is quite the achievement to make this tournament even more controversial than the Qatari one.

Jeez. All tourists - including those from Britain - will have to undergo a social media screening before being allowed entry into the US under new plans being considered by the country's border force

US plans to start checking all tourists' social media
The potential social media mandate being proposed by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) would apply to anyone visiting, whether they require a visa or not.

The thing that really shone through last night for Spurs was the positivity. All Slavia really had in their bag was close physical marking and fouls but I thought everyone, particularly Xavi, dealt with it brilliantly. The state of Xavi’s kit at the end of the match said everything.

Archie Gray has put in two excellent performances in midfield in the last four days. His emergence this season in his preferred position on the pitch, after filling in so much in defence last season, could be the thing that allows us to really kick on this season.

Spurs might have found something with DM + Gray midfield. I feel reasonably confident Spurs could fix one of the midfield OR wingback depth in January, but fixing both seems like a tall order. Might be huge if Gray can be the CM fix for the rest of the year.

5 goals scored and none conceded in our last two games. We looked fluid again in attack tonight and did so having made changes from Saturday. Another positive for us to take into the next game COYS

Lovely stuff from Spurs, got the job done against a chaotic opposition — nice to see Xavi and Gray again looking better from the start, and Kudus is great

Moments like today show exactly why visibility matters. LGBTQI+ fans shouldn’t have to shrink to make others feel comfortable.

Tonight our flag still flies and our community will continue to stand strong. Pride will always have a place at Our stadium and Our Club #COYS

Cool way of saying "our fans will do hate crimes if they stand too close to The Gay Flag"
Pretty remarkable statement from Slavia Prague, who say this is "a logical step based on respect for the space reserved for visiting fans, just as Slavia fans outside the visiting section respect the rules of not wearing our club colours or symbols.”

For the avoidance of doubt, the flag will still be up in the stadium but not in its usual place where it fits so well

Some vital context on the Slavia Prague/Pride flag situation: The flag is not being removed, it is being relocated from the Away section. This is still not an ideal solution, the club should’ve told Slavia to forfeit the match, but better a flag moved than torn apart or set fire to.
