Every speaker brought unique insights into game dev, working within the industry and outside it, how ideas coalesce, It's great to see so much passion and connection within the scene, and the organisers did a great job making such a transformative space 🎮

Dan Graf's talk on intention with game mechanics hit perfectly as someone who loves exploring how classically violent mechanics can be reframed to match our changing values in my own zine/comic work.

Matthew Lucis' talk on modding and map building, and especially their experience using in-game tools reminded me of watching Achievement Hunter play with people's intricate Halo levels and games within games and I remember thinking "I hope these folks know they're already game devs"
