Screw the rules. Take a page out of the Republican play book. They dont follow "rules", those apparently are only for Dems anyway. Show up with her family, a federal judge, the press AND A LOCKSMITH. Open her office!

As flies take off, they often launch backwards. This works to the advantage of the centipede, as it can even rear up to a degree and catch the fly at the start of its take-off. As centipedes go, they also seem to have a tad better vision.

Amazingly they can catch houseflies. They gently detect the fly with their long antenna, then pounce.

Great 'top ten' list of Outer Limits episodes. I'd add a #11, "Don't Open Till Doomsday". It has many signature elements of the series: an existential threat, psychological themes, a great cast, and a bizarre alien (who in this case originates from the quantum realm).

Saw it in theaters when first released. I didn't quite understand the tepid reviews. But being ahead of one's time can be an unfortunate handicap, and not only in the entertainment industry! But shortly after, it benefited from video rentals and repeated airings on cable movie channels.

My copy in its wrap. I had a little difficulty finding a copy of this. I recall reading there was a later reprint lacking the unique artwork. The short stories were first published in "Story" magazine in the 1940s.

Price is in top form, so is Elisha Cook. It has some genuinely good scares in it. Among the horror fans I know, this film holds a special place in the hearts of those weaned on late night television.
