Mel Brooks will reprise his role as Yogurt, Spaceballs' comedic take on Yoda, in the sequel to the classic '80s sci-fi Star Wars parody, which means the actor will be 100 years old when it premieres in 2027. bit.ly/43F3u23

Hitting a brick wall on my assignment. I have different systems, but getting them to feel like a game and as a collective is another challenge. Didn’t think I’d struggle this much on this assignment .

Whooop

I’ve kept my accreditation 🥳

Love being part of this group. Being an Authorised Instructor is one of best things I’ve ever done. Some could say it’s Epic..

Now to move up the ranks and kick out more content.

Hopefully dropping my next @unrealengine.bsky.social tutorial end of the month. Focussing a lot of my initial stuff on those switching engine. Spending time creating content on aspects that I either struggled with or did not know when I first switched. This next one is all about references.

Also big shout out to the Epic Educational team. The recent training they provided was hugely helpful in creating this tutorial and will be hugely impactful as I look to create more.

It was very useful. Not just for creating content for Epic but for online content as a whole.

It's live. Quick demo on Game Mode and Game Instances. Many people who move to Unreal often take an approach that has you fighting the framework. + Game Instances class. A great way to move info between levels.

Lots of changes to make moving forward.

Just finished my first Unreal video tutorial. A quick demo on Game mode and Game instance.

May make it public rather than than just being active on UE forums. But honestly scared 😂

First video tutorial, lots to change. But first is always rough.

The best order of operations for any mid-scope indie game that requires funding is:

- Build it quickly & quietly assuming you'll self-publish
- Pitch to everyone
- If unsuccessful, put out a store page & start marketing
- If successful, publishers will come back to you
- If not, continue as-is

The business plan is complete. 🙌 only the build and pitch left. Can’t wait to submitted this assignment. Then actually get things moving 👀

Rare massive W from EA.

They had a handshake "we won't sue you probably" agreement for a few years but this is huge W for accessibility for every game dev.

Includes the IRIS plug-in for UE5.
