Playing as an adult i can tell how kid me got stuck on the Phoenix (Fire Bird) in The Legend of Dragoon. It's the first real challenge and 9/10 year old Collin definitely was not using the mechanics like he was supposed to

Took me longer to beat Zeromus than it should of. Was over thinking it. It was a straightforward fight: wack, heal, repeat. Basically what I did thr entire game lol
And with that Final Fantasy 4 is completed

For those curious, I finished at almost 15 hrs exactly with 90% of scans and 83% of items
Pros and Cons in the pics below, but ultimately my rec is this: if you want to dive in aware of the flaws, go for it. A flawed game can still be fun 👏 but if these flaws give you pause, maybe reconsider 🧐

The is not enough time to stop Leviathan's attack. Like unless you're perfect at timing every burst strike (which I can only pull off by accident) there's no way to stop it. It's game breaking
