As long as gold is considered by reserve banks as a long term substitute to the $, backing global trade, the rise of gold is a structural trend that can only be upended by US at the cost of decreasing their own reserves.

Linear nature can be interpreted as dips immediately bought by liquidity waiting on the side.
Market participants understanding that "buying the dip" is a losing strategy and accepting the price.
Only strong fundamental changes can act as catalyst of any meaningful correction, albeit short-lived...

Hilarious.
The world is decoupling from the US (i.e. liberated from the US since "liberation day"). Not from China.

China's exports are unequivocally on the rise globally, whilst decreasing with the US.

Does the Trump administration really not understand why the rise of gold is unstoppable?
