Working class solidarity. We can do things ourselves.

Independent IT is important. Shop local counts for us, too.

AI is for huge dorks. The Luddites did nothing wrong.

Waiting for the ISS piss tank to hit 0% is like waiting for the DVD logo to hit the corner perfectly.
The piss tank on the ISS is now 5% full.

My wife is now giving vocal lessons to my daughter using the Charlie Kirk song.
My teenagers sing the Charlie Kirk song whenever something inconvenient happens.

Kind of a Alexa, play Despacito thing.

Extremely relatable.

Also, velvet and that soft gray packing foam for electronics.

"But it’s immediate and cheap".

They are trying to will into existence the fast fashion era of software. Don't build anything of lasting value. Spend all your resources on a thing that sorta kinda works. And after you wear it a few times, it disintegrates.

That’s a free campaign slogan, no attribution required.

This is actually a good thing. AI companies are signing contracts for something they can’t actually build. It takes years to construct even 1GW worth of generation. This one area alone needs 45GW of new capacity? No amount of money will make that go faster.
the highest ever single day electricity consumption for Virginia occurred this past January 23rd, with a total of 24,768 MW used. our utility is saying that new data center interconnection requests currently filed collectively represent an additional 70,000 MW of daily demand

I wouldn’t say I’m missing it, Bob.

In fact, fuck AI and everything it touches.

Well of course bandwidth usage goes through the roof when you move everything to the cloud.

Now give me the $500k salary that the C-level gets for asking me this stupid question.

“If a colleague had the reliability rate of an LLM, they would be fired. If ordinary software did, it would be banned... Instead, companies give LLMs responsibilities that they would not trust their top humans with.”
Corporations demand perfection from workers, but AI gets unlimited slack.
LLM users have bottomless patience for inconsistent tools, and no grace left for their colleagues. What if we could flip it around?

Bro turned off replies and quote posts like a coward.

I'm not asking AI to tell me about how good AI is.

And it doesn't matter anyway. Generative AI is a tool of fascism.
