Here at Bluesky we have a few simple rules:

1. Younger layers of rock sit atop older layers.
2. Layers of sedimentary rock are originally deposited horizontally.
3. Rock layers must be older than the intrusion that disturbs them.
4. Layers of rock are continuous until disrupted

“I could smell the onions and mustard”
I rode my bike 36 miles and saw so many people of all ages and activities enjoying the day. It was really cool to see so many folks savoring the day
Today was an absolute stunner in Portland
Agreed. I like how many breweries are doing hop water, which makes a ton of business sense. I guess I get why more brewers aren’t doing na, but I’d love to see more options. Kinda related: I’d love to see more na on tap. Enjoying some Athletic at the Timbers match
Deschutes really is a cut above the rest in the na game
I wonder if you could talk a local bottle shop into stocking it through their distributors. I’m also picky about IPAs and don’t love most of the NA IPAs out there. Fieldwork also does some great NAs if they distribute to you
They also have an na IPA that’s pretty good
This na Pilsner from Burial is pretty great

Official anthropology ruling: you can use kinship terms in extended ways including for people who have no ties of marriage or ancestry. Real humans know this and do it. Some humans do it a lot more than others.
imagine telling on yourself that you refer to adult relatives of your parents' age as something other than "aunt" or "uncle". the expression "am I your mate?" exists for a reason
I hope it's helpful! Yes to both, and the approach you mentioned earlier about waiting a while before extending your generosity is something I've also worked on in therapy. It feels selfish! But it makes a lot of sense in that it exposes people who would otherwise take advantage of generosity.
This really resonates with me. I've struggled with that as well, especially the tension over personal boundaries. The book, Running on Empty, by Christine Musello, helped me understand a lot of my own patterns of behavior WRT self-abandonment and sacrificing my boundaries. It might help you too

as we reach the SNAP cliff just a gentle reminder to do-gooders that the most efficient use of resources is to contribute to organizations that are already established. unless nothing exists in your area (and it likely does whether you know it) now is probably not the time to stand something up
Sexy “can you substitute cloves for allspice in a pie filling?”
I love their na Black Butte Porter! I made a chili with some in it that turned out great.
“I’ve got a pumpkin you can carve”
I had the same feeling about going to Bend, where visiting breweries used to be a highlight of my trips there. It’s funny that the health foods grocery store out in the burbs has the best range of na options I’ve seen around here
The first thing that came to my mind when seeing this was how fixated N*zis were on ancient civilizations because it allowed them to develop a mythology that legitimized their worldviews
The symbolism is way too on the nose

Worth noting that the White House, the Supreme Court, the Capitol, & related grounds are all exempt from the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966. So there is no formal review process for this kind of thing.
Scoop: Trump has started demolishing the White House's East Wing facade to build his ballroom. The president had claimed construction of the $250 million building wouldn’t ‘interfere’ with the existing White House structure. /W @ddiamond.bsky.social wapo.st/4hqBNiU
